I'm a seasoned marketer & creative catalyst who specializes in helping niche brands build cult-like followings. Think of me like a creative CAP2L – I can carry the things you need, and I can do it with a focus on utility and quality.

While I earned my chops on the ground with design and video content, I’ve built a reputation as a marketing leader with a deep skillset and love of story-telling that resonates and delivers objectives. Deep down, though, I’m just a guy who loves to make cool shit. 

 

Simply put, I make good brands better.

Why me?

My work:

  • I planned and executed co-op on-site video production with Reebok - including ideation, talent recruitment, travel agendas, shot lists, crew management, filming, editing revisions, & launch.

  • Owned all product creative (branding design, product shoots, styling, product videos, on-brand editing, ​and of course, post-launch review) for a $15m product line for Ragnar.

  • Grew owned-audience size +10x in 3 years (from 30,000 to over 400,000) at Ragnar.

  • As VP Brand, I guided weekly video content for a $50m consumer product brand to quadruple its YouTube subscribers in two years (from 15,000 to 70,000.) This was just part of my role which also included ad design, retailer channel marketing, and all brand creative.)

I create stories that connect and sell, carrying your audience to your products. With a background in brand marketing and storytelling, I bring purpose and personality to every piece, backed by the same relentless commitment to quality as you have in your packs & pouches.

 

I understand the needs of a product-first, experience-driven brand. Much like your packs, I craft content strategies for every journey—whether elevating your brand on social media, engaging communities like Carryology, or crafting product features that speak EVERGOODS’ language.

 

I love taking rugged stories and polishing them into digital gems. I know success requires collaboration; after all, the best packs—and the best content—are thoughtfully designed and rigorously tested.

 

EVERGOODS doesn’t settle for average, and neither do I. My current EDC includes a Griffin II CBB22L in waxed camo canvas, along with a CAP1L. I’ve purchased many more EVERGOODS bags and pouches, and I’d love to pack up my creativity and hit the trail with you.

Ragnar: 2013-15

I was hands-on with the cultivation of a start-up events brand that grew to a multi-national lifestyle company. My ideas shaped the entire creative for the brand including over a million units of apparel and marketing development with high-profile brands like REI and Reebok.

Ragnar: 2015-2018

Oversaw and executed all marketing efforts from digital to national print magazines, to co-op product development with Cotopaxi & Salomon, all while relaunching the brand. With a focus on brand content, I grew the reach and following of the brand nearly 10x.

Boutique agency - I was a creative & marketing multi-tool focused on campaign ideation, video production, apparel design, and marketing creative. I scripted, shot, edited all videos and photography.
